Every Glencraft mattress is handcrafted in Aberdeen, Scotland, using traditional techniques, carefully selected materials and a purpose-led approach.
Our collections are designed around different preferences, environments and levels of support, from luxury residential mattresses to products developed for the exacting demands of hospitality and specialist environments.
Natural fillings feature prominently across our collections, including wool, horsehair, alpaca, cotton, silk and cashmere. The exact materials and construction vary between models.
Luxury Collection
Traditionally handcrafted with carefully selected natural fillings, the Luxury Collection combines classic Glencraft craftsmanship with balanced comfort and lasting support.
Natural fibres and fillings feature prominently throughout the collection, with individual mattress designs incorporating different combinations of materials to achieve their intended comfort and performance.
Signature Collection
Our most refined sleep experience. The Signature Collection combines more than 180 years of craftsmanship with generous natural fillings and sophisticated spring systems to create exceptional comfort, support and depth.
Each model is individually handcrafted in Aberdeen using a carefully considered combination of materials selected for comfort, durability and performance.
Fire Safety
All mattresses sold in the UK must meet fire safety regulations set out in the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988, as amended. Manufacturers can meet this requirement in different ways, including using inherently fire-resistant natural fibres such as wool, or incorporating a fire-retardant barrier layer within the mattress construction.
