For over 180 years, Glencraft has handcrafted luxury mattresses with purpose. From our beginnings in Aberdeen to our Royal Warrant and role as a not-for-profit social enterprise, our story is one of resilience, inclusion, and lasting Scottish craftsmanship.

In 1843, in Aberdeen, two visionary women founded Glencraft with a bold mission to provide meaningful work for the visually impaired through skilled craftsmanship. At a time when opportunity was limited, they built a company on the belief that everyone deserves the dignity of work and the pride of creating something lasting.
Their vision gave rise to a business where craft and compassion remain inseparable, producing handcrafted mattresses of exceptional quality rooted in care.
